What's New: New additions in the Iron history section, Lieut. J.P. Muller
Lieut. Jørgen Peter Müller (7 October 1866 - 17 November 1938) was a Danish Army officer and all around athlete who originally published 'My System' in his homeland in 1904. This was translated and published for the first time in 1905. Muller had competed successfully in a wide variety of sporting events winning 125 first places across disciplines such as sprinting and long distance running, long jump, rowing , skating swimming, Hammer throwing, shot put and wrestling to name a few. The system focuses on regular calisthenics rather than weight training. It is not uncommon of the texts from the Edwardian era where the focus was more on simply getting people moving (Not unlike modern times although the issues then tended to be weakness and underweight/malnourished rather than obesity that we face now). He published other texts such as the 'The sunbathing and fresh air system'
